    Ken Hersh is the Co-Founder and CEO of NGP Energy Capital Management, a leading investment franchise in the natural resources industry with $13 billion of cumulative committed capital under management. Ken currently serves as a director of NGP Capital Resources Company, Memorial Production Partners as well as numerous private companies. Currently, he serves on the Dean’s Council of the Harvard Kennedy School and on the Advisory Councils of The Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and the Bendheim Center for Finance at Princeton University. Ken is a member of the World Economic Forum and the Council on Foreign Relations. In addition, he serves on the Boards of the Communities Foundation of Texas, the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues and the Global Adaptation Institute. He earned a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. Ken was a member of the Alumni Board in 1997 before joining the St. Mark’s Board in 1998. Over his tenure, he has led the Finance Committee, the Audit Committee, the Trustees Committee and the Executive Committee. From 2010-2012, he served as President of the Board. Ken and his wife, Julie, are the parents of Daniel ’13 and a daughter, Rachel.
  • Dr. Leonard M. Riggs, Jr., Co-Chair

    Leonard Riggs is the Founder and retired CEO of EmCare Inc., a company specializing in managing emergency departments for U.S. Hospitals. He was formerly the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Leonard has been nationally recognized for his involvement with Emergency Medicine at all levels, including being a past President of the American College of Emergency Physicians and serving on the American Board of Emergency Medicine and numerous other medical societies. Before beginning his career as an emergency physician, Leonard served in the U.S. Navy as a Flight Surgeon for the First Marine Air Wing in Vietnam. Leonard has served on numerous boards for companies and organizations, including the Prentiss Properties Trust, Westwood Holdings Group, Inc., Southwestern Medical Foundation, Dallas Citizens Council, Centenary College, and Dallas Center for the Performing Arts. He is currently the Chairman of the Baylor Healthcare System Foundation Board of Trustees and of the North Dallas Shared Ministries. He is a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He was an active member of the St. Mark’s Board from 1996 to 2008, and held a variety of leadership positions, including leading the Executive Committee from 1998 to 2002, and serving as President from 2002 to 2004. Leonard also played a vital role in the Centennial Building Project, acting as Chair of the Architectural Selection and Design Committee. Leonard and his wife, Peggy, are the parents of Jason ’07 and Preston ’04.
  • George S. Bayoud, Jr. ’73

    George Bayoud is the Founder and President of Bayoud & Company, Inc., a real estate investment company, as well as Bayoud Interests, LLC and Frontier Corporation. He is also involved in water projects and the energy business. He was the 1986 Campaign Manager and Chief of Staff for Texas Governor Bill Clements. In 1989, George became Texas’ youngest ever Secretary of State. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. George is a trustee on the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum Foundation and on the Advisory Board of William P. Clements Center for Southwest Studies at Southern Methodist University. George serves on the University of Texas at Austin Development Board and the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce. He served on the St. Mark’s Board of Trustees from 19932011. During his two-decade tenure on the Board, he served on and led multiple committees. From 2006-2008, he chaired the Executive Committee and served as Vice President of the Board. As Board President from 20082010, George led the School through the completion of Centennial Hall and the Robert K. Hoffman Center, the largest building project in School history. George and his wife, Vickie, are the parents of Griffin ’08 and a daughter, Meredith.
  • Katherine R. Crow

    Kathy Crow has been an active member of the Board of Trustees since 2003, serving on the Executive Committee and as one of the Co-Chairs of the Centennial Challenge Campaign. She earned a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. Kathy currently serves on several boards including the Advisory Board of James Madison Program on American Ideals at Princeton University. Former Board service includes Southwestern Medical Center Hospital, Children’s Medical Center, and Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. She and her husband, Harlan, are the parents of Jack ’14 and Rob ’17, and a daughter.  
  • The Rev. Michael B. Dangelo

    Chaplain

    After a nationwide search, Mike Dangelo became Chaplain of St. Mark’s in the spring of 2012.  Before joining the faculty at St. Mark’s, Mike served for four years as Rector at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lynnfield, Massachusetts.  During his ministry at St.Paul’s, he also served as the Dean of the Mystic Valley Deanery, assisting the Bishop of Massachusetts. Previously, Mike served The Church of Transfiguration in New York City as Clergy Associate and Trinity Church in Boston, Massachusetts as Associate Rector for Congregational Growth and Interim Assistant Rector for Worship.  Mike received his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College and a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School. He and his wife, Faye, have a daughter, Suzannah.
  • Randall S. Fojtasek ’81

    Randall Fojtasek is the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Brazos Private Equity Partners, a private equity investment firm that specializes in leveraged acquisitions and recapitalizations of high-potential businesses. Prior to co-founding Brazos, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Atrium Companies. Randall is currently Chairman of the board of directors of Blackhawk Industrial, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ennis-Flint, and serves on the Board of Strategic Equipment and Supply Corporation. He is also a member of the Investment Committee at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Board of Directors and Strategic Planning Committee at North Texas Public Broadcasting, Inc. Randall is a former trustee of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a former member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He holds both a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. Randall joined the St. Mark’s Board in 1997 and currently serves as President. He has chaired multiple Board Committees, including the Investment Committee, the Committee on Trustees, and the Executive Committee when he served as Vice President. Randall and his wife, Ola, have four sons, Joe, Michael, Jack ’15 and Randall, Jr. ’20.
  • D. Scott Gonzalez

    Provost, Dean of Campus

    Scott Gonzalez joined the St. Mark’s faculty in 1995 and currently serves as Provost and Dean of the Campus. He has taught 8th grade Humanities, and 9th and 10th grade English. He has also served as Acting Head of Upper School, Director of Scheduling and Studies, Director of Intercultural Activities, Interim Chaplain, and Director of Faculty Recruitment and Training.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Committee on the Academic Program and plays a vital role in leading the School’s exchange programs and global efforts. During his career in education, Scott taught at Greenhill School for four years, where he also served on the Board for three years. He taught English at The Winston School for seven years, and also served as the English and Spanish Department Chair and Head of Upper School for two years. Scott earned his B.A. from North Texas State University and his M.H. from the University of Dallas.

  • Kathryne B. Hillier

    Kathryne Hillier has served St. Mark’s in a wide variety of volunteer capacities, including President of the St. Mark’s Parents’ Association in 2008-2009 and a member of the Board of Trustees from 2007 to 2010. She and her husband, Jeff ’76, current President of the St. Mark’s Alumni Association, also served as Co-Chairs of the St. Mark’s Centennial Anniversary Committee in 2006-2007. Kathryne earned her B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. Since 1999, Kathryne has served as the Executive Director/Administrator of The Texas Lyceum Association, a non-profit, state-wide leadership organization working to identify and develop the next generation of Texas leaders and to help bring a better understanding of the major issues facing the state to policy and decision makers. Kathryne and Jeff are the parents of Travis ’09 and Cameron ’13.
  • Amee Joshi

    Amee Joshi worked in the Expatriate Tax Group at Ernst & Young, LLP in New York City from 1992 to 1999, and then worked with Ernst & Young Consulting in the Global Mobility Group until 2004. Amee and her family transferred to Dallas, where she worked as a consultant for Honeywell, providing global HR policy consulting, until 2011. She serves on the North Texas Regional Board of UNICEF, and was part of the host committee for the recent UNICEF Experience Dallas. Amee will serve as Treasurer of the St. Mark's Parents' Association for the 2013-2014 school year. Previously, she served on the St. Mark's Parents' Association Executive Board as Lower School Coordinator and as Treasurer-Elect. Amee and her husband, Saf, are parents of Jayan Joshi ’19 and Rajan Joshi ’21.
  • Christen E.J. Lee ’96

    Chris Lee lives in New York City and works in the Capital Markets Real Estate Group for KKR. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Emory University before joining Goldman Sachs in New York. After a four-year stint with Goldman, he received an MBA from Harvard Business School and then returned to Goldman where he worked in the Merchant and Investment Banking Divisions. Prior to joining KKR, Chris also spent several years at Apollo Global Management on their Global Real Estate team, where he focused on real estate acquisitions. Chris has been an active St. Mark’s volunteer, serving on the New York Area Alumni Club Committee, as well as leading the annual Young Alumni Task Networking Event. Chris has also been actively involved on the Board of Trustees since 2008, and currently serves on the Investment Committee. Chris and his wife, Nyssa, reside in Manhattan.
  • Jon L. Mosle III ’79

    Jon Mosle III is a Managing Director and the General Counsel of HBK Capital Management, a global, multi-strategy hedge fund management company. Before joining HBK in 1999, Jon was an associate and then a partner with Texas-based law firm Hughes and Luce LLP., where his practice areas included mergers and acquisitions, securities, and corporate law. Jon graduated from Harvard College and received his J.D. and M.B.A from the University of Texas at Austin. Jon has been active with the Alumni Association for more than two decades. He was appointed to the Alumni Board in 1991 and served as President from 1996 to 1997. Jon served on the Board of Trustees from 1995 to 2001, and was re-appointed in 2006. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and chairs the Committee on Trustees. He previously led the Investment Committee and was active in the Centennial Goals Committee that identified the priorities for The Centennial Challenge Campaign. Jon also serves as a Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of St. Philip’s School and Community Center in South Dallas. Jon and his wife, Jennifer, are the parents of Michael ’16 and a daughter, Kate.
  • Ross Perot, Jr. ’77

    Ross Perot, Jr. serves as Chairman of The Perot Group, which manages the various Perot family interests, including real estate, oil and gas, and financial investments. In addition, Ross is the Founder and Chairman of Hillwood, ranked among the top ten real estate developers in the United States. He is also the Founder of Perot Systems Corporation, where he served on the Board of Directors from 1998 until 2009, when Dell Inc. acquired the company. Ross served in the United States Air Force for more than 8 years. He also led a 14-year effort to build the United State Air Force Memorial in Washington, D.C., which was dedicated to the Nation in 2006. Ross currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the East-West Institute and Vice Chairman of the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council. He is also a member of both the Dell Inc. Board of Directors and the Board of Vanderbilt University. Ross is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Gold Medal Award for Extraordinary Service, the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service, and the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship. Ross has been an active member of the Board of Trustees since 1992, serving in a wide variety of leadership positions during his more than two-decade tenure on the Board, including as Chairman of the Executive Committee, as well as Board President from 2004 to 2006. Ross and his wife, Sarah, are the parents of Hill ’05 and Hunter ’06, and two daughters, Sarah and Meredith.
  • Judith T. Sutcliffe

    Master Teaching Chair in Mathematics
    Mathematics Faculty, 1984–
    J.T. Sutcliffe holds the Suzanne and Patrick McGee Family Master Teaching Chair in Mathematics and serves as the Faculty Senior Master. She has taught mathematics for 46 years, including the past 29 years at St. Mark’s. In addition, J.T. has been a member of the AP Calculus Test Development Committee as well as AP Calculus Exam Leader. She has also helped develop Pacesetter: Mathematics with Meaning, a teacher professional development project for the College Board, and has served as a consultant and member of its Assessment Committee. J.T. is currently serving as Co-Chair of the SAT Mathematics Committee and continues her work as an Advanced Placement Calculus consultant and as a developer for the Video Supported Calculus Professional Development Program. She is a member of the NAEP (National Assessment of Education Progress) Mathematics Oversight Committee. Among her honors are being a 1985 Presidential Awardee in Mathematics and a recipient of both the Tandy Technology Scholars and First Annual Siemens Awards. In 2004, she was awarded the Ralph B. Rogers Award by the St. Mark's Alumni Association for teaching excellence. J.T. earned her B.A. from Wittenberg University and her master’s degree from Northwestern University.
  • Taylor Wilson ’81

    Taylor Wilson is a partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP., focusing his practice on corporate/securities, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He regularly serves investment advisers regarding both domestic and offshore funds and serves as chair of the firm’s Investment Funds Practice Group. Taylor is a graduate of Amherst and earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University. Taylor is a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. Taylor has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America and as a Texas Super Lawyer. He began his service to the School as a member of the Alumni Board in 1996, where he served as President from 1999 to 2002 and rejoined the Board of Trustees in 2006. Taylor has served on the Executive Committee, the Committee on Trustees, the Development Committee, the Education Committee, and as Chair of the Long Range Planning Committee. He is currently the Vice President of the Board and chairs the Executive Committee. He and his wife, Kathleen, have two sons, Taylor ’12 and Benjamin ’14.

St. Mark’s School of Texas is a private, nonsectarian college-preparatory boys’ day school for students in grades 1 through 12, located in Dallas, Texas. St. Mark’s aims to prepare young men to assume leadership and responsibility in a competitive and changing world.
