Student Travel Opportunities

Travel allows Marksmen to grow as global citizens and learn more about the wider world they may one day lead.
Across its programs, St. Mark's offers myriad opportunities for students to travel beyond the campus, the city, and even the country. Some of these trips allow Marksmen to compete at the highest levels of academics, athletics, and fine arts. Some trips provide a chance to walk in the footsteps of history, bringing to life places and events that had only existed in a textbook. Still, other trips are opportunities for Marksmen to share their talents with the world.
"We want every Marksman to develop a full appreciation for the world and embrace the responsibility they have to make a difference.”
– David W. Dini
Eugene McDermott Headmaster
Over the past year, students in every division and discipline have embarked on dozens of trips across the nation and the world. Some of the recent trips include:

The fourth-grade class visited Austin, Texas, and toured the State Capitol and Bullock State History Museum.

The varsity lacrosse team took an annual Spring Break trip to San Diego to train and practice with high-level, out-of-state teams.

St. Mark's robotics team competed in a global robotics competition in Houston, Texas, against more than 18,000 students representing 59 countries.

Twenty student artists studying photography, film, and ceramics traveled with their teachers across Tuscany on a Visual Arts Trip, taking excursions to capture the countryside and learning from world-renowned instructors.

As part of their biennial international tour, the St. Mark's Choir performed in residency at Norwich Cathedral in the United Kingdom.
