Jim Livengood Organ to be Dedicated

As St. Mark's prepares for the installation of its new organ, the Chapel's original organ is set to be dedicated in its new home at Holy Nativity Church in Plano. On May 18, 2014, the organ that led St. Mark's Chapel services for more than thirty years will be dedicated as the Jim Livengood Memorial Organ, named after the late organist and choirmaster at both St. Mark's and Holy Nativity. Many of Jim's colleagues are volunteering as part of the choir for the dedication. Jim's wife and Lower School music teacher Mary Ann Livengood will also be attending the ceremony.

The dedication will be held on Sunday, May 18, at 5:00 p.m., during a Choral Evensong service at Holy Nativity, 220 18th Street, Plano, TX, and is open to the public.
