Farewell Tour Heads West
On Friday and Saturday, January 24–25, more than 100 alumni and guests had the opportunity to thank and wish a fond farewell to retiring Eugene McDermott Headmaster Arnie Holtberg and his wife Jan.
At events held in Los Angeles and San Francisco, Arnie answered questions covering a wide range of topics, from his early life, to the challenges of running a school, to his post-retirement plans.
During the events, several alumni spoke praising Arnie's legacy and wishing him farewell, including Taylor Hamra ’95, Michael Merrill ’72, and Alumni Board President David Campbell ’86, who accompanied the St. Mark's delegation from Texas.
On February 15–16, the Farewell Tour moves closer to home, hosting events in Houston and Austin, before returning to 10600 Preston Road for Spring Alumni Dinner on April 25. Click here for more news, photos, and more event dates on The Farewell Tour.
