St. Mark's welcomed Dr. Michael Thompson, New York Times bestselling author, psychologist, and school consultant, who spoke to a packed house about How to Raise Responsible Children.
Mixing clinical experience and anecdote, Dr. Thompson offered some real world solutions to raising socially health and morally responsible children, with tips from getting boys to do their laundry to preventing a homesick college freshman.
Dr. Thompson is already well known to the St. Mark's faculty, who read his book Understanding Independent School Parents as part of their summer orientation for the 2012-2013 school year.
