School Hosts Open House
St. Mark's opened its campus and welcomed nearly 800 guests to 10600 Preston Road for its annual Open House.
Visitors interested in the School filled the Great Hall for a welcome from the Headmaster, the Director of Admission, and the Student Council President. They were also treated to a special performance by the Upper School Choir before heading about campus, where teachers hosted presentations on the wide range of subjects and activities that the School provides, from a micro safari led by Eugene McDermott Master Teaching Chair in Science John Mead, to a demonstration of the Academic Quiz Bowl Team's mental muscle.
The Open House is the Admission Office's largest annual event, drawing hundreds of prospective parents from across the metroplex.
