Yearbook Wins National Award

Over the weekend of April 8, the National Scholastic Press Association awarded the 2016 Marksmen yearbook with its prestigious Pacemaker award. The editor of the yearbook was Will Diamond ‘16, now a student at the University of Virginia. The associate editor was Jackson Cole ‘16 and the head photographer was Alden James ‘16.
 
The yearbook was one of 32 nationwide publications, from both public and private schools, to receive the highest award from the NSPA. Yearbooks are evaluated on coverage, photography, layout and design, and writing and editing by a panel of journalism educators and media professionals.

This is the Marksmen’s tenth Pacemaker award overall and fifth in six years.
 
Current students who contributed to the 2016 Marksmen include seniors Josh Bandopadhay, Killian Green, Easton Honaker, Shaheer Khan, Andrew Lin, Rohil Rai, Ethan Shah and Frank Thomas. Juniors who contributed include Owen Berger, Alan Jiang, Canyon Kyle, Chris McElhaney, Ryan Norman, Omar Rana, Tucker Ribman, Riley Sanders, and Will Wood.
