On Friday, August 26, 2016, more than 1,100 students, parents, faculty, staff, and alumni gathered for St. Mark’s second annual all-school spirit party, Lion Pride Night. The community filled the Perot Quadrangle, enjoying music, games, dancing, and In-N-Out Burger meals. Just before kickoff, Lower School students led a parade into the Norma & Lamar Hunt Family Stadium where everyone cheered the Lions in their opening varsity football game.
“We were so happy to have the entire St. Mark's community celebrate the beginning of a new school year,” said Lion Pride Night co-chair Darcy Ribman, who organized the event along with co-chair Kim Shultz. “It was great to see Marksmen of all ages as well as their families, friends, and the faculty and staff join together to show their Lion Pride! What a fabulous start to a new year.”
