On Saturday, May 4, 2013, the Association of Texas Photography Instructors awarded St. Mark's the distinction of "Top Program" for the seventh consecutive year. The decision was based on student portfolios submitted under several categories, including Portrait/People, Landscape, Still-Life, and a Thematic category entitled "Surrealism."
St. Mark's was represented by photographers Arno Goetz ’16, Graham Kirstein ’16, Alden James ’16, Mason Smith ’15, Riley Graham ’14, Max Wolens ’14, Halbert Bai ’14, Blake Robins ’14, Nick Brodsky ’14, Reid Stein ’14, Richard Eiseman ’14, Charles Thompson ’13, Michael Gilliland ’13, and Otto Clark-Martinek ’13.
Additionally, four St. Mark's photography students were named to the Texas Image Maker Team that recognizes the top ten high school photography students in Texas. They are Riley Graham, Max Wolens, Halbert Bai, and Blake Robins.
