On Sunday night, January 27, 2013, Eugene McDermott Headmaster Arnold Holtberg and his wife, Jan, hosted the International Exchange Dinner. In attendance were exchange students Keigo Kashima, from St. Andrew's School in Osaka, Japan, and Lukas Jendele from the Czech Republic, who is here as part of the international ASSIST program. The students had the chance to dine with faculty members, including the Faculty Sponsor for International Students, Green Master Teacher Marsha MacFarland.
During their year at St. Mark's, Keigo and Lukas will each spend a semester with one of the four host families (the Browns, Khoshbins, Okadas, and Gallaghers), who also attended the dinner.
Overseas, sophomore Blake Spanlger ’15 is representing St. Mark's at St. Andrew's School in Osaka, Japan.
