Twenty-seven Marksmen were inducted into the three Foreign Language Department honor societies in ceremonies held Wednesday, April 26.
Inducted into the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica honor group were seniors Nat Fisher, Grant Warnecke, Aaron Liu, Aidan Peck and Luke Stallings; juniors Raja Mehendale, Parker Steinbruek, Miller Wendorf and Nate Wilson and sophomores Zach Andrews, Maddox Canham, John Householder, Deven Pietrzak and Arjun Poi.
Earning membership in the National Junior Classical League Honor Society were senior Sam Adams and juniors Vardhan Agnihotri, Ethan Bosita, Preston Laird, Asa McCaleb, Aditya Shivaswamy, Sohum Sukhatankar and Howard Zhang.
Inducted into the Chinese Honor Society were juniors Arnov Lahoti, Thomas Whitehurst and John Zhao and sophomores Andrew Jin and Ethan Zhang.
Members of the Foreign Language Department, Associate Headmaster John Ashton and parents of the inductees were present at the ceremony in the St. Mark’s Chapel.
