Recent graduates from the Class of 2016 gathered on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, for the annual Graduate Send-Off hosted by Eugene McDermott Headmaster David Dini. Sixty members of the Class turned out for their final gathering before departing for college and were joined by former faculty and members of the Alumni Office.
As the Class enjoyed a meal prepared by beloved cafeteria staff member Howard Stewart, the Director of Alumni Relations Alex Eshelbrenner ’04 shared the importance of staying connected to the School and one another. Mr. Eshelbrenner also noted the many resources available to the graduates, including the St. Mark’s Alumni App.
Mr. Dini expressed his appreciation and respect for the Class, telling the boys, “Know that we already miss you but we’re going to be with you every step of the way.” The evening concluded with a trip to Graduate Hall, where the boys saw their names added to the list of every graduating class since 1907.
Best wishes to the Class of 2016 in college and in all of their future endeavors!
