The 2013–2014 ReMarker newspaper has been named a finalist for the Pacemaker Award by the National Scholastic Press Association, the highest award given by the organization.
The ReMarker joins 64 other student newspapers from around the country as Pacemaker finalists. Winners of the Pacemaker award will be announced at NSPA’s fall convention in Washington, D.C. in November, 2014.
Editor of The ReMarker was Dylan Clark ’14, now a student at Harvard University.
Other alumni who held key positions on the staff include John Caldwell ’14, Andrew Gatherer ’14, Aidan Dewar ’14, Teddy Edwards ’14, Vishal Gokani ’14, Charlie Golden ’14, Riley Graham ’14, Sam Khoshbin ’14, Alexander Munoz ’14, Nabeel Muscatalla ’14, and Ryan O’Meara ’14.
Current students who had editor positions on the publication include seniors Matthew Conley, Cyrus Ganji, Cole Gerthoffer, Alex Kim, Shourya Kumar, Vik Pattabi, Zuyva Sevilla, and William Sydney.
