With the holidays right around the corner, St. Mark's and Hockaday students are gearing up for their annual season of giving. Next Monday, November 12, marks the start of McDonald's Week, the annual tradition which brings the whole community together for food, fun, and philanthropy.
All week, activities will be hosted by the McDonald's at Preston-Royal, with a portion of sales going towards the Community Service program's Austin Street Dinner. Next month, the junior class will travel to the shelter and hand out hot meals courtesy of McDonald's.
Each night, certain local restaurants will also donate a portion of their sales to the Program as well.
