As St. Mark’s seeks to strengthen engagement with its alumni network of more than 4,000 Marksmen worldwide, the School recently promoted Alex Eshelbrenner ’04 to the newly-created position of senior director of Alumni Engagement within the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. In this new position, Eshelbrenner will focus principally on thoughtfully engaging alumni across the association by personally highlighting volunteer roles, programs and effective approaches to investing in the community philanthropically.
Jack Mallick ’14, a member of the Alumni Relations team, has been named to succeed Eshelbrenner as the Ahlberg and Ribman Family Director of Alumni Relations. Mallick began his St. Mark’s professional career in 2018, most recently serving as assistant director of Alumni Relations.
Since their return to campus in 2014 and 2018 respectively, Eshelbrenner and Mallick have worked collaboratively to elevate the School’s alumni program through important initiatives, including the Reunion Program, Alumni Leadership Speaker Series, Regional Clubs, College Ambassador Program, Terrill Society and the School’s fundraising priorities.
“I am excited for the professional growth and increased responsibility for these two outstanding teammates and for the tremendous value they will continue to bring to St. Mark’s on a daily basis,” said Scott Jolly, assistant headmaster for External Affairs.
