Helping Marksmen Connect
The St. Mark’s Alumni Association is comprised of more than 4,000 active members who are proud to be linked through their shared experiences as Marksmen. With one of the most engaged Alumni Associations in the country, St. Mark’s graduates have a storied history of readiness and willingness to share their knowledge in the professional world with Marksmen across the generations. In an effort to keep the alumni community well connected, the Alumni Board recently launched Marksmen Connect, an online alumni engagement platform. This website has been designed for members of our community to establish and expand both personal and professional relationships with one another.
“Marksmen Connect is an extension of the community,” said Paul Genender ’87, Alumni Association President. “It is a tool where Marksmen across generations can connect with each other and further strengthen those bonds and our entire Alumni Association and community.”
Through Marksmen Connect, individuals have the ability to create a personal profile and input their contact information and work experience. By filtering through categories such as name, class year, employment, educational background, and location, both current and former Marksmen are able to locate one another and start a connection. The database also allows Marksmen to post and find available internships and jobs, seek out mentorship opportunities from established alumni, and connect via LinkedIn and Facebook. In addition, the site features an interactive map that allows users to virtually explore where members in the Alumni Directory are located across the globe.
