The National Merit Scholarship Program has named 26 members of the Class of 2020 as Semifinalists based on each student’s 2018 PSAT/NMSQT scores. This year, of the more than 1.5 million student entrants nationwide, only 16,000 were selected as semifinalists, of which only 1,321 were from Texas. Additionally, 29 seniors were named Commended Scholars for placing among the top 50,000 entrants.
“We are delighted to recognize and celebrate our students for their academic distinction,” said Veronica Guzman Pulido, Al G. Hill ’63 Director of College Counseling. “St. Mark’s teaches boys the value of delayed gratification and the incredible dedication of these Marksmen has certainly paid off.”
