    Reilly Walker has been a member of the St. Mark’s faculty since 2020 and teaches seventh grade humanities. Before joining St. Mark’s, she taught English at Stuart Hall High School in San Francisco and at the Lycée Français de San Francisco. Walker earned two bachelor’s degrees from Marquette University and a master’s degree from Middlebury College. Reilly serves as a seventh-grade sponsor and advisor and sponsors the Middle School Green Team

    Mark joined St. Mark's School of Texas in July of 2005. He is a 21 year veteran of facility management and building operations. Mark is a graduate of Duncanville High School and completed one year of studies at Cedar Valley College with an emphasis in air conditioning and refrigeration. He earned his BOMA SMT and SMA designations in December of 2003.

    Mark has earned numerous achievement awards and professional licenses including the 1997 BOMA Lone Star Award Engineer of the Year, 1994 Premisys National Central Plant of the Year, CSI Automation Operator Certificate, Dupon Stop Safety training certificate, Universal Refrigerant Licens and Refrigerant and Equipment Purchase Licenses.

    In additon to being an active member of Building Owners and Managers Assocation (BOMA) and the American Society of Heating Regrigeration Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAW) he is involved in Hillcrest Baptist Church and has served as a Board Member of Duncanville Boys Baseball, Vice President of Duncanville HIgh School Baseball Boosters, and has coached youth softball & baseball for 18 years. Mark has also participated in many charitable organizations including ESA Cancer Awareness 5K Run, Adopt-A-Block Program, and the Batab Learning Center Program.

    Dr. Bruce Westrate has been a member of the St. Mark’s faculty since 2003 and serves as a history teacher, holding the Nancy and Jeffrey Marcus Master Teaching Chair. He earned a B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Dr. Westrate previously taught at Lake Michigan College, Purdue University, Western Michigan University and Indiana University. He has authored several books and has been published in multiple articles, including “Rediscovering the British Empire,” “The Arab Bureau” and “Apotheosis,” among others. Westrate was the 2017 Marksmen yearbook dedicatee.

    Trey Whitty joined the St. Mark’s faculty in 2022 and is the head lacrosse coach. Whitty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining St. Mark’s, Whitty served as the head lacrosse coach and director of athletics at St. Paul’s School in Brooklandville, MD. He has also taught and coached at McDonogh School and St. Mary’s High School in Maryland. Whitty teaches Middle and Upper School physical education, is a 12th grade adviser and the head coach of the eighth grade football team. Whitty is a two-time USA Lacrosse Assistant Coach of the Year recipient.

    Cheray Williams joined the St. Mark’s community in 1995. She originally served as the School’s receptionist before transitioning to her current role as an accounts payable specialist in the Business Office. Williams was awarded the Superior Staff Award in 2006. She is an enthusiastic attendee of community theater productions in the Dallas area and occasionally performs in them.

    In a career that began at St. Mark’s in 2000, Jim Windlinger serves as controller in the Business Office. He earned a B.B.A. from Texas Tech University and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University. Before joining St. Mark’s, Windlinger was executive vice president and general counsel at a local computer distribution company, and practiced law at a firm in Dallas. A father to two Marksmen — Jacob ’11 and Michael ’15 — Windlinger is a CPA and member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds membership in the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.

    Katherine Wood serves as Middle and Upper School art teacher. Coming to St. Mark’s in 2019, she earned a B.F.A. from the University of North Texas and an M.A. and M.F.A. from the University of Dallas. Previously, Wood taught at the University of North Texas, the University of Dallas, the University of Texas at Arlington and Mountain View College. She is a sixth grade adviser and Upper School Creative Arts Club sponsor. Wood’s studio practice consists of 2D work that interprets expansive hypothetical spaces, inspired by mathematical theories, physical infrastructure and nature. Her work has been shown at dozens of exhibitions.

    As a member of the Upper School office, Leila Wright joined the St. Mark’s staff in 2022 as assistant to the head of Upper School and registrar. She earned a bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin. Before joining St. Mark’s, Wright worked at a non-profit focused on providing extracurricular opportunities to students and was part of the Dallas Independent School District’s Teacher Excellence Initiative team. She also taught math in Oak Cliff as part of the Teach for America program. Wright founded Girls Rock Dallas, a summer music program for girls and young women.
