    Coming to St. Mark’s from Queens, N.Y. where she taught for over a decade, Sherry George joined the St. Mark’s faculty in 2020. A member of the Mathematics Department, she teaches courses in precalculus and calculus to Upper School students. George earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and comparative literature from Binghamton University, NY; and a Master of Arts in secondary mathematics education from City College of New York.

    As a member of the Language Department since 2011, Anna Gill is an instructor of Spanish in both Middle and Upper School divisions. Before joining St. Mark’s, Gill taught Spanish at the University of Arkansas. She received both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Arkansas, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Gill serves as sixth grade class sponsor and adviser and received the Murrell Excellence in Teaching Award in 2015. She is a member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.

    Before coming to St. Mark’s in 2004, Marion earned her B.F.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma in theater performance and an M.L.A. degree from Southern Methodist University. A mom to two Marksmen (Michael Kirby ‘32 and Christopher Kirby ‘34), Glorioso-Kirby has served as Senior Class sponsor, and sponsored both the Improve Troupe and Fine Arts Board. She has taught drama in all three divisions, has led six international Choir tours to England and coordinates the School’s presence at the annual ISAS Fine Arts Festival. She received the John H. Murrell Excellence in Teaching Award and was a finalist for the Ralph. B. Rogers Award.

    With a St. Mark’s career that began in 1995, Scott Gonzalez currently serves as English and humanities instructor as a member of the English Department. He is the Senior Master for the School and serves as class co-sponsor in the ninth and tenth grade class rotations. Gonzalez earned a bachelor’s degree from North Texas State University and a Master of Humanities degree from the University of Dallas. Before coming to St. Mark’s, Gonzalez taught Spanish, French and composition at Greenhill School for four years and was a board member for three years. He also taught English and chaired the English and Spanish Departments at The Winston School for seven years. At St. Mark’s he has twice served as interim head of Upper School and and was appointed to The Cecil H. and Ida Green Master Teaching Chair in 2020. He earned the John H. Murrell Excellence in Teaching Award in 1997, and was recipient of the Marksmen yearbook dedication in 2001.

    Jennifer Gordy joined the St. Mark’s staff in 2016 and currently serves as co-director of the Extended Day Program. Gordy earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi.

    With a varied career including a stint in the Czech Republic and director of annual fund drives as a member of development teams, Lee-Ann Graham came to St. Mark’s in 2020 and currently serves as fourth grade mathematics instructor and homeroom teacher in the Lower School. Graham earned a Bachelor of Arts in Letters degree with a second major in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Before coming to St. Mark’s, she taught algebra I and sixth grade mathematics to middle schoolers. She is the mother of two Marksmen, Cal ‘22 and Bryan ‘24.

    A member of the Computer Science Department, Ivann Grande joined the St. Mark’s faculty in 2023, teaching classes in Middle and Upper School. Grande earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas Wesleyan University and has taught programming courses at CodewizardsHQ, where he was part of the curriculum development team. He also worked as a software engineer for Tata Consultancy Services where his focus was on web development and applications, simulations, DevOps and virtual reality.

    The varsity head basketball coach since 2006, Greg Guiler has the distinction of being the all-time leader in career wins among the School’s many storied athletic programs. He joined the St. Mark’s faculty in 2005 and currently serves as a teacher and coach in the Athletics Department, where he has also served as head golf coach since 2016. He has been a head coach in the lacrosse, baseball, and football programs at various sub-varsity levels and has taught physical education across the Lower, Middle and Upper and School divisions. Dad to Cooper ‘26, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cedarville University and a master’s degree in cross-cultural studies from the Dallas Theological Seminary. Guiler received the John H. Murrell Excellence in Teaching Award in 2013 and was named a finalist for the Ralph B. Rogers Alumni Award in 2011. The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches twice honored him as Coach of the Year (2007 and 2020) and he was named Texas private schools Most Outstanding Coach in 2013. His 2020-21 varsity basketball team was the first in the history of the Southwest Preparatory Conference to be ranked #1 among all schools in Texas and in the Top 25 nationally.
