4th-Grade Tour of Texas Field Trip

The Class of 2033 took a Texas-sized field trip to the heart of the Lone Star State. Accompanied by Lower School teachers and administrators, the fourth graders traveled to Austin, where they toured the Bulloch State History Museum and Texas State Capitol. While in the Capitol rotunda, students met Governor Greg Abbott, who told the boys, "You are the future of Texas and the future of leadership in America." The next day, the class visited San Antonio, where they toured the Alamo, enjoyed lunch on the River Walk, and explored Casa Navarro, the preserved residence of 19th-century Texas patriot José Antonio Navarro.
